Hackner Home began in a small dining room with limited space and unlimited potential. Jona Hackner took the opportunity of a slower way of life to focus on building the dream of a small business. An ambitious venture, Hackner Home was created soon after relocating to the East Coast city of Shelby, North Carolina. This new and unique setting as a stay-at-home mom made a big idea a reality.

 In 2014 a successful business was born after a few short months of hard work. Five years later, Hackner Home has turn into something much more. Supplying International Home Stays, large interior design firms, interior designers and individual customers alike. It has gained opportunities like meeting HGTV Dream Home designer celebrity Brian Patrick Flynn! 

After twelve years of working in education, Jona realized her passion for design was realized in Hackner Home. Designing soft home décor satisfied Jona’s creative passion. The inner workings of a small business were made proficient in educational studies. Holding a MSOM, with a minor in Business, has made the workload of a small home goods maker more efficient. As Hackner Home as grown significantly over the years, Jona’s husband Christoph as played a large part of the company. Christoph’s 19 years of manufacturing experience builds a stronger team all the more capable of larger manufacturing operations. His recent accomplishment of earning a Black Belt in Six Sigma creates new ways of valuing Hackner Home customers while reducing waste. We strive to be lean and green. 

It has been a great year and we know this is only the beginning of more wonderful things to come.
